It is also worth limiting the consumption of products rich in sugar and saturated fatty acids. The diet should also be rich in nutrients, such as vitamins,minerals and proteins. It should include fresh vegetables and fruits, oily sea fish, nuts and seeds, as well as vegetable oils.
What should a diet include to maintain a beautiful complexion?
If you want to have beautiful and healthy skin, you need to take care of the right nutrients and microelements present in your daily diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for skin regeneration, firming and preventing skin diseases. Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E remove free oxygen radicals and prevent the aging process of the body, including skin cells. Vitamins also play an important role, and deficiencies in some of them can lead to dry skin, loss of radiance, bursting capillaries, dark circles under the eyes and seborrhea. Micro and macro elements, such as calcium, potassium, iron, silicon, zinc and iodine, also affect the appearance and condition of the skin. Adequate intake of these minerals can improve the structure of the epidermis, skin hydration, prevent acne and allergic lesions, as well as strengthen and make the walls of vessels more elastic blood vessels.
In a proper diet, which is to promote healthy and beautiful skin, you cannot forget about hydration of the body, because it has a huge impact on the condition of the skin. Not drinking enough water leads to dryness and wrinkles. In addition, water allows you to get rid of toxins from the body and also supports metabolism.
Although the recommended amount is about 2 liters of fluids per day, it is worth remembering that every body is different and the need for fluids may vary depending on age, weight, height, level of physical activity and the season. What's more, this applies not only to water, but to the entire diet. There is no one, effective diet for everyone, because there are many factors, such as the aforementioned age or weight, as well as skin type or imperfections.
